This is a hands-on training with a fixed plan, specifically designed for first time investors.
It requires prior education, as we won’t spend a lot of time on the “What” and the “Why” of cryptocurrencies, but focus on the technical “How to“.

READINESS
You feel you understand enough about cryptocurrencies to have come to the conclusion to invest in them. In this program I will show you how to buy and store your first coins safely, so that you’re able to repeat this process yourself anytime.
PROGRAMME STRUCTUREWe will meet twice online via Zoom. The sessions will be 1-2 weeks apart, since you will have to do homework in between. SESSION 1 (60-120min)
- We will identify the best exchange and wallet for you
- We will talk about a variety of coins and how they are different from Bitcoin, so you have some starting points for your own research
- We will install a wallet on our computer
- I will give you a thorough introduction on how to use an exchange, and we will start the registration process
BREAK BETWEEN THE TWO SESSIONSThe break is needed, because it will take a few days for the exchange to approve your account. Once done, you will fund your new account from your bank account or credit card, with a sum you want to invest in cryptocurrencies. Once your exchange account has successfully been funded, we will schedule the second session.
You can also use this time to do some research on different crypto coins, so we can buy them together in our second session.SESSION 2 (60-120min)
- We will buy your first crypto coins together (= exchange your local currency (e.g. EUR or USD) to Bitcoin or other coins you choose
- We will send them to your new wallet
- I will give you a thorough tour through your new wallet and show you where to find your (very important) private keys, and how to send and receive money
- I will answer any questions that came up for you since the first session.
